Kia ora, my name is Teina.

I was born in Rotorua yet raised in Hamilton where I currently live.  

Growing up loving and having the opportunity to play a variety of sports, including football, golf and softball. My greatest passion lies with indoor volleyball. I have been fortunate to play at representative level in both football and volleyball where I have had to faced several injuries which required extended rehab.

It was through this experience and with the assistance from my physiotherapist, where I became interested in the benefits of physiotherapy and the intricacies of how one’s body operates. Ultimately, my newly heightened interest has led me to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

Armoured with a positive attitude, I forged a pathway towards physiotherapy by graduating in 2022. I have been fortunate enough to begin my physio journey here at Lifestyle. I aim to give back to the people by helping you on your rehab journey, as physiotherapists have done for me in the past.
