good work new zealand - alert level 2 and we are open!!
With the move to Alert Level 2 our doors are open and we can recommence face to face treatment. To ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff, we will be implementing strict screening and hygiene policies as per best practice guidelines from the MOH and Physiotherapy Board.
A few important things for our patients to know:
- Each patient will be screened via our COVID-19 screening questionnaire – if you or anyone in your household is unwell, please ring to reschedule your clinic appointment and we can transfer it to a Telehealth consult.
- We can only take contactless payment – no cash, but an invoice for internet banking can be organised.
- We are asking that you come alone to your appointment, unless a support person is absolutely necessary (please let our reception staff know).
- We ask that you use the hand sanitiser provided on arrival, and as you leave the clinic.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. Although some things have changed, the team at Lifestyle Physiotherapy remain committed to providing you with the same excellent standards of treatment. We welcome any feedback that you have, and look forward to seeing you soon.
Call or email to book your appointment now: St Andrews 07 850 5950; Ngaruawahia 08 824 7799 email@example.com
Please note: Telehealth services will remain available to any of our patients who are considered at risk or vulnerable during Alert Level 2
What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is a service approved by ACC to allow physiotherapists, to treat patients in a virtual setting.
We can set up a call using Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime, which allows us to see you and talk through your injury and complete a virtual assessment.
Is it any good?
Yes! We have had some great feedback over the past few weeks. Telehealth consults are often used by health professionals, and have regularly been used prior to lockdown by surgeons and sports physicians treating patients in rural settings and even overseas.
What can I expect?
Your physiotherapist will ask you the same sort of questions they would in the clinic, and then help guide you through a virtual physical assessment. Your physiotherapist will then be able to discuss your injury with you, and help implement and guide you through a rehabilitation plan to get you back to your best.
